A research project led by Dr Helen Holmes of the University of Manchester.
Its aim is to explore thrift in contemporary society with a focus on:
- Thrifty activities
- Having time to be thrifty
- Objects of thriftiness
Alongside other research activities Helen is looking to speak to households and hear their stories about being thrifty.
